Scintilla for Notepad++ (Multibyte word customize) 0.2

Customized feature

• Show zenkaku-blank Mark on Japanese laguage.
  

  Previous version had shown return, tab marks like the following picture.

  

  But this was confusing you by difference of zenkaku-blank and hankaku-blank on Japanese language. So, this version will show zenkaku-blank mark, and it will not be confused you by difference of zenkaku-blank and hankaku-blank.

  
  
• Select multi byte word on other than Japanese.
  

  Previous version has not been able to select correct word on other than Japanese by its operations(double click,...). ie, you would not be able to select word of include multi-byte on French. But this version will be able to select word on French or Russian, Portuguese etc. Please see following selected word results.

  

  I do not know Arabic and Chinese, Korean. ie, I do not understand correct word selection on their languages. On the above picture, I think it do not work well on their languages. But perhaps, on another languages, I think it work well.

Installation and Execute

1. First step, you should download Notepad++, extract it to any directory.
   

   This page do not provide Notepad++ exe file. You will get Notepad++ from official site.
   If you download zip or 7z format, it extract to any directory. If you download install file, it execute and install.

2. Next, you should download dll file from download page, extract it to installed directory.
   

   It extract to directory that Notepad++ instaled.
   Note) You should copy 'SciLexer.dll' for backup before update.
   

3. Next and final step, you can execute notepad++.exe.
   

   Already, you have got environment it can execute always. Example, it will execute if you do double click "notepad++.exe" in Exploler on Windows.

   

Known problems or unsupported features

• If selected multi byte word, same words feature do not work with Notepad++(Scintilla).
  

  Notepad++ has same word feature.
  It will be shown you same words('sc') if you selected word('sc'), like following picture.

  

  This fueature do not work with multi byte word. But find fueature work very well.
